Maria Luigia Guaita … “in her private life she was an avid collector guided by a magnetic intuition. Her choices tell of her nonconformist gaze but also of her personal affection towards some artists who have been dear to her throughout her life. This exhibition tells this passion, tells the path of Maria Luigia Guaita in the art of the ‘900 starting from her private choices, from the art she had chosen to surround herself with in her daily life, in the unfolding of a life in vivid and courageous colors.
A significant number of pieces from his collection are exhibited here; some works never shown to the public before, drawings that were given to her in private moments by loved ones or grateful artists, some sheets taken from the editions of the Bisonte – chosen among the most significant – and prints that she herself had purchased from friends or colleagues . An exhibition that tells a life. ”
