STUDIO SPACE AND PREMISES
We have several studios:

Room 1
4 Hot plates
3 etching presses
1 etching press - electro-powered
1 water basin for the paper
25 students seats

Room 2
3 Hot plates
3 etching presses
1 lithographic press - electro - powered
1 water basin for the paper
20 students seats

Room 3
1 Hot plates
2 etching presses
8 students seats

in the courtyard:
4 acid basins - different graduation
1 aquatint box (colophony)
1 gas cooker for the aquatint

Kenju Room:
It is a satellite room of the room number two, usually used for the Paper Restoration Workshop but possibly used to accommodate a dozen students..

Kitchen:
... for the five o’clock tea.

 SCHOLARSHIP
Eligible students can take advantage of a number of grants offered by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Italian Government ( http://www.esteri.it ).

CREDITS
credits may be transferred to your home University after a specific agreement. Some school already allow their students to gain credits attending our courses.

LANGUAGE USED IN OUR COURSES
Classes at Il Bisonte are in Italian, but our teaching staff is proficient in English and Spanish. For the longer course we strongly suggest to learn Italian, even in within the same stay in Italy.

Usually the foreigner students are the 50% of the classes.

AGE OF THE STUDENTS
Minimum age is 18; there is not a real average age, usually we have students post high school, post college and artists.

  

 


The Management of the School has the right to make changes to the syllabus of each course.
