The works made by young people from Livorno who over the years have been awarded the scholarships made available by the Livorno Foundation to attend the Il Bisonte graphic school will be presented.
The first contribution that the Livorno Foundation made for the assignment of scholarships dates back to 2005 and after 10 years the collaboration between the Livorno Foundation and the Bisonte Foundation continues: every year young people who want to refine their technique and carve out a space in the difficult world of graphics manage to attend the International School of Graphic Art, founded in 1983 to enrich and give continuity to the tradition of the homonymous Florentine printing house.
The 10-year anniversary of collaboration represented the opportunity to realize this exhibition, in which the students will be able to exhibit a work performed at the Bisonte during the specialization course and another, both pictorial, sculptural, engraved, which testifies the continuation of the artistic path of the fellows.
There are 36 people from Livorno who attended the Bisonte courses offered by the Livorno Foundation from 2005 to 2015 (with a total investment of € 235,790.00), all present with their works on display and in the catalog:
