PrintmakingAdvanced Course

The Printmaking – Advanced Course is about 6 months long for 5 days a week.

January 7th – June 7th 2025
Timetable:
from Monday to Friday: 9.30 am – 1.30 pm
20 hours per week

The scale of the course permits comprehensive coverage of all the traditional hand-printmaking techniques and printing procedures (i.e. chine collé, the use of Japanese paper)  and allows for extensive individual work. Depending on the chosen period of study, the following may also be run: various intensive workshops focusing on particular techniques, for instance the use of the burin on copper or end-grain wood; sessions with prominent artists, printmakers and other specialists in the field; framing and mounting; the production of folders and individual portfolios.
