CONTEMPORARY LANGUAGES OF PRINTMAKING
The main summer course runs over 2 weeks focused on different technique. It is possible to enroll in the individual week

Letterpress

In the letterpress workshop you can give your creativity a shape by creating posters and artist’s books.
Cyanotype

It allows you to create artworks characterised by the signature color blue.
Gum Print

It allows you to experiment a printing process that uses pigments colored with gum Arabic on a paper support.
Woodcut and Linocut
8-12 hours
It offers theoretical and practical knowledge on the techniques of carving and hand printing on wood or linoleum.
Burin
It allows you to explore the ancient technique of burin starting from the knowledge of the specifics tools.
Mezzotint
To learn a technique aimed at obtaining deep blacks, bright highlights and a wide range of tonal values.

Silkscreen
Allows you to learn the screen printing process, from design to printing on paper.
Lithography
It offers historical notions and practical demonstrations for the preparation and printing of a lithographic stone.
Studio Rent
