The Summer School of “Il Bisonte” Foundation is designed for those who want to explore all aspects of printmaking in order to apply them to their artistic path, thanks to the high level of training offer that aims to merge the tradition of intaglio techniques with experimental ones.
The course will be held from 12 to 17 July 2021, from 9 am to 6 pm, in the historic laboratories of Palazzo Serristori, (via del Giardino Serristori 13r – Florence) and will include practical studio activities and meetings with curators and artists.
The artists will deepen the use of intaglio techniques such as drypoint, etching, aquatint, soft ground etching, monotype, relief printing, toner transfer, polychromatic inking methods, collography, experimental and proto-photographic techniques such as cyanotype and gumprint.
At the end of the course, the Foundation will organize a collective exhibition of the works produced during the Summer School.

The course fee is € 680
The Foundation offers 3 scholarships divided as follows:
1 scholarship of 680 euros to fully cover the amount
2 scholarships of 340 euros each to partially cover the amount
To access the scholarship it is mandatory to attach an artistic project to the application.
