Light-sensible and proto photographic techniques specialistFederica Rugnone

Born in Prato in 1987, she trained between Bologna, Paris and Florence where she obtained her master’s degree in philosophical sciences by addressing central themes in her artistic research: perception, body and space. During the university years she studied photography following courses at the Studio Marangoni Foundation and art graphics at the Il Bisonte Foundation.
She has exhibited in contexts such as Studio 38 Contemporary art gallery (“Human Nature”, personal exhibition, Pistoia, 2019) and “Arte in arti e mestieri, collective exhibition Suzzarra, 2020), LDM art gallery (“Ghosting” collective exhibition, Florence, 2019), Camera Work (collective exhibition “Travel notebooks”, Ravenna, 2018), SiFest off Savignano sul Rubicone (“Dialectical Strategies”, collective exhibition, 2017), F-Light festival (“Photographing the light”, Florence 2016) etc.
She currently collaborates with Il Bisonte Foundation, an international center of graphic art (Florence) where she holds workshops on experimental techniques between engraving and photography.
